I have been a TOD for over 35 years spending most of my working career at Telethon Speech and Hearing. In 2009, I became a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) Cert Auditory Verbal therapst through AG Bell in America. In 2014 I started working with families in their homes, as an AVT, coaching parents who have chosen that their child learns to listen and use spoken language.
My business, ‘Auditory-Verbal Western Australia’ (AVWA) is a Better Start provider and I work in collaboration with ‘Hear at Home.’ I am also a WA NDIS provider and a NDIS provider. I also work at SSEN; S as a Visiting Teacher of the Deaf, on a relief basis. I feel privileged to be able to empower both parents and students to achieve their goals. |
